honestly, the moment i read something in the book that bothers me, albeit sometimes super minor, the rest of the book is dimmed for me then im like welp, no point finishing it if i know im not gonna like it! i used to be a masochist, Candy, and it feels so good now that im not lmao - its a process tho!😭 sometimes i still am one

YUP. I should embrace the DNF lifestyle... but I'm always holding on to that little sliver of hope, that "hey, maybe things will get better" *cue the epilogue and no, it did not get better* But I have to agree, although with me that only tends to happen with characters. Once I dislike an MC is over for me in terms of investment lol
