I'm 37 pages in, distracted by Perth suburbs that don't exist, 5m waves* in an imaginary Perth marina during the Boxing Day tsunami & trying to work out if the blokist stuff is the author or high level criticism of the male characters' narrow mindedness. I'm waiting for the women to become more than appendages, but I'm sure that will happen.

* Spoiler: I was on a Perth beach during the tsunami, waves were about 1m.
