I knew very little besides the outstanding praise of my bibliophile peers about this book going into it. One thing that caught me immediately off-guard (in a good way) was the casual humor Jamison uses to help the characters who populate her world feel undeniably real. The second thing I took notice of was the rare, and expert use of second person narrative. Very excited to continue.
