The many different POVs seem kind of superfluous and boring? I find it hard to care about most of the characters and don't understand what their perspective adds that is so vital to the story (or why they act the way they do because it doesn't make sense to me). I guess I went into this with false expectations, thinking it was going to be a (slow burn) fantasy romance when it's really not? Might dnf it...
