I picked up this book at Goodwill because I liked the quality of the binding and I was interested in reading a book from a Latinx perspective. From the cover I expected it to be from the perspective of a woman, but instead I find myself in the mind of a 15-year-old boy. so far the book demonstrates experiences I never would’ve considered. To be a powerless young man. To be raised by a sexy mother. To be Latino.
