This kind of storyline literally drives me up a wall and frustrates me to no end. Here's a second PERFECT opportunity Ash has to come clean with Wes...and doesn't do it. 🤬 I really enjoy the author, I really enjoy the stories in her series, so I want to read this, but I hate deliberate miscommunication that just reads like lazy writing to me.

I could have told Wes right then that he was my first client ever, but it felt odd and awkward to talk about this, so I just left it at, “Not necessarily.” He got the hint and changed the subject.
*frustrated sigh* Not this shit again. There is no reason especially at this point Ash should be withholding that he's not actually a prostitute from Wes.
