I need more than these little teasers of mystique omg!!!!!!!!! I’m so hyped for their battle. But annoyed, as I know the series ends after it.
Also, carol’s character is just absolutely brilliant even back in the 70s (by this I mean, I adore carol now in comics but didn’t think her resilience, tenacity, intelligence and strength was as old as the character itself. She’s such a force!)

Wow I didn’t realise Carol and jess’s friendship stemmed from such a critical point of carol’s arc … it’s added such depth to their friendship that I’ve read over the years.
This ends on such a. Bitter sweet note … Carol’s lost so much, faced so much, has already lost her memories before …. So she can’t see any option but to leave all of her past life behind? :( I feel sad she deserves more

have to say, I thought Mystique plot line would have returned???? Also I was expecting rogue by now!! I thought that was such an iconic storyline for carol????? Guess it’s much shorter than anticipated lol

You know what, I was worried about the mar-vell meet up but I actually really really enjoyed that and loved carol’s take at the end on her being her own woman and never wanting to be perceived as someone trying to emulate someone else.
Also, YES!!! New costume incoming 🥳🥳🥳 I actually love the black ms marvel costume so v excited for this debut!!

First appearance of mystique !!! Ahh!!!! Such a cool way of introducing her. Love that we didn’t get to see HER until her final moments in the comic!! feels v mystique.

Love how carol with use her smarts or her absolute determination to win a battle. It’s fab.
Interesting so many readers at the time were so focused on pitting carol against other women. Always comparisons that, oh it’s great she isn’t AS feminist and head strong as Valkyrie!!! But it’s SO good she isn’t a loser like sue storm!!! Well ... maybe women should be afforded agency to be any type of woman.
