Should a book on a subfield of linear algebra poke fun at a perspective reader and "read like a historical fiction novel" (in the immortal words of Amrita Goswami)? If yes, this is the book for you, gentle reader xD

carol. I would say both 'yes,' and 'no.' Yes, it should poke fun. No, probably not the book for me. But I'm sure I will enjoy your thoughts on it. 😁

^_^ I ended up dropping it for a bit, they are dreadfully hard to read without having a notebook on the side "for trivial proofs left to the reader" and for "annoying complications one must work through" or something like that. It's too fun to not finish though.
