I like this book. It contains 101 suggestions on ways to change - one little tip to read about each day. The tips are only a few pages long. They are long enough to be helpful but never tedious or boring. Today I read tip #21 about things to try at different stages of my exercise program.

Tip #31 was about forming a group for weight loss discussions... using this book, of course. Not a bad idea, but I think it would be hard to do as a vandweller. We'll see. I had visions of my red yurt being a meeting place. (Unfortunately I don't currently own a red yurt.) Daydreams.

Subtitle of book is "101 Psychological Ways to Lose Weight" - I just read #30... about mindfulness - like breathing, conscious walking, gathas and counting breaths when you feel like eating. Be aware - that's the lesson here.

Continuing on - usually I read something from this book daily... just a few pages. It is a small bite of something good to make me more conscious of my eating activity. Today I read about emotional eating. Sometimes I use the ideas I read, sometimes not. Today I got a good idea that I'll try out and use.
