There is so much info dump in this book that i have conditioned myself to skip over walls of text while reading it and as a result i will likely just completely miss this battle lol

The scene where Bree finds out about her mother is exactly like the scene in the last Jedi where snoke tells Rey she is just a rando and then gets instantly murdered except the villain in legendborn is just everyone's trauma and the author's decision to just throw away the southern black girl magic she talks about for like only five chapters

This book will be my undoing
