I don't like the way the author blames his addiction on his youth. He self medicated because of his anxiety. I know a lot kids experiment with drugs. I myself did as well as addition to heroin and oxy in my family. The drug hooks u and overruns ur life. u need to hit rock bottom and I mean the addict has to hit rock bottom in order to change. There comes a time when u need to accept responsibility for ur actions.
