page 100: if I wasn’t enjoying the writing so much I would have said that the beginning of this novel is “slow-moving” but I’m enjoying it so I’ll say that it’s leisurely-paced

page 200: I guess this is similar to the Silent Patient where everything slowly builds and unfold towards the end. I’m still enjoying it, but sometimes I question the motive behind the main character’s actions and where she fits in.
