All due respect, if an author has absolutely no knowledge on how Irish people speak. DON’T WRITE IRISH CHARACTERS.
Shayne is a fucking joke. Irish people don’t say ‘lad’ in every single fucking sentence. We just don’t. It’s beyond ridiculous. If I took a shot every time this fucker said lad I’d be dead. We also only say ‘ye’ in certain context. It doesn’t replace the word ‘you’
