Not sure if it’s me or the book but I am reading at the rate the earth’s crust moves 🥸…Very little is compelling me to read and it is my only read. I think I like it, but not a great sign. Maybe it’ll pickup the pace soon.

I've been sitting around with my ereader for like 4 hours add I think I've accomplished a page and a half!

Sounds like we’re in a race, lol. Does it count as reading if you keep reading the same sentences over and over?I have had oodles of time to read but so little progress.

Yep! I think I need more structure or something. 😳 We have nights totally free, and all I seem to do is lounge and occasionally raise a book and then lower it!

I think I got my house too clean that I didn’t have that to procrastinate from—not that there’s not still plenty to do, and it’s creeping back to before times, so maybe I will feel more like reading then.

Yes, my house is decent and it makes me feel too relaxed and weirdly edgy like it's time to cram all the things in, ooh nevermind I'm lounging
That's been me in the last 1-2 months. That's why I'm not joining any buddy reads of BOTMs. I can't keep up with anyone else's pace.

This is how stupid my reading is: *me pondering your commenr* who is Ioan (as in capital ‘I’ for idiot) and which HR did he write? Sounds like a Welsh name to me. Oh wait! It’s loan expiration!!! Must get more sleep…

When this first came out I felt like everyone loved this series but me. I found them ok, the writer's cadence and humor didn't sustain, making the story drag for me. I have a seat saved for you in the dislike corner if you ever need it.

I’m about ready to give up on it and join you. It does drag and is inconsistent.
