So, in Not Without Risk, they go to Sanibel Island, supposedly on Florida's Gulf Coast. Then the sun rises over the ocean. But the Gulf is West of Florida. So either the island is on the Atlantic coast, or the sun is rising over the bay between the island and the mainland, or Brockmann and/or her copyeditor got confused... I watch the sun rise over the ocean on occasion, but I live on the other side of the Gulf.
