This is grueling. I appreciate the color and texture of this world created, plus the characters are very well-drawn. That said, the language is super rich and there’s repetition, making this a slow read for me. Enjoyable, but I’ll be glad to finish!

So much fun. This ending is juicy- I wish it had been this entertaining all the way through… parts dragged, but such is the nature of the novel, especially a 500+ page one.
