Dear God of Tricks and Bargains,
With all due respect, what the fuck? I've been reading this story for the last how many ever chapters, and she's been the least resourceful character in the history of resourceful characters. So I repeat, what the fuck?

“The alternative was to ask you to go, and that wasn’t the alternative I wanted.”

Sounds awfully romantic if I didn't know the full context of it. I can't figure out if the author is trying to rewrite history with romance, or if she's saying that it was love at first sight, or if it's just more vague political posturing😶

The way to sidestep this Curse is so easy! Just learn to fight from another person! If this actually takes hold I will throw this book out

This whole book is just a bunch of contradictions. The protagonist says one thing and refutes herself in the literal next breath. Wtf bro

I'm imagining two lanky 17 year old boys posturing and circling each other "like wolves" and I can't even take myself seriously wth😂

I am ridiculously slow if it just hit me that this is a weird ass mix of mahabharat and ramayana😂

So far we have an annoying protagonist, war plans being discussed in the open air, child characters with monumental self importance but no weight, and a goddess sharing my name. I'm not liking this very much.😩
