Just beginning this series. Just finished the first two in Jack Benton's 6-book series with John "Slim" Hardy. I thought his first one was a knuckle-biter. My first foray into British authors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😃😃😃 you giving him a try with "The Man in the Water." Now I'll focus on Inspector Proby and start some of my thoughts. No spoilers at ALL!! I'm a beginner to Goodreads
