At times I cannot breath for the emotion. I weep for the losses. I admire the strength.

This is not a book to plough through, rather it is to be sipped and contemplated.

This book is opening me up to greater understanding, greater sorrow, and greater hope.

So much to meditate on.

Such powerful words. "I just know that I want to find women who have faced fully the terrors life can hold, who have known outrage, and who have been able to transform their anger into compassionate action rather than become embittered or violent or simply deny what has happened."

I love how this book digs deep.
