I read this before, when it first came out. It turned up in a stack of books a recent doctoral graduate returned to me, so I decided it's worth a second look. Just started--so far, so good. I like how he discusses the sources he's drawing on; at the end of each chapter, he puts his cross-disciplinary sources in conversation with one another. I like the idea--will I like its execution? We shall see.
