You’ll end up ahead of me! :D I got bogged down with other books & must get back to this one ASAP.

I may due to all the rain we have coming in ! That means I should have free time to actually read ...I wondered what happened, I have been regularly checking for updates from you on this book but alas there have been none lmao ...maybe we will finish it around the same time !

I got stuck in the mud of American Eden. Good lord, it feels like it’s never gonna end! I want to finish it tonight, hell or high water. Enough already & on to better things! Like this one. :D

That sucks when a series goes downhill like that...I have read books like that ...it is almost worse though when they start good then start backsliding !

It is. 😶 I mean if your series starts off meh & it ends meh, you’re consistently in that meh range. Fair enough. But starting great & backsliding is such a bummer. How dare you get my hopes up & then lay an egg! :/

I will tonight. This afternoon I’ve been working on this other meh ripper, Lovers & Warriors. Some parts are great, others are zzz. It’s kinda schizo. O.o But even the meh parts are better than American Eden, so there you go. 😈

I will have to check that one out ! I still have not started this one yet (hand slapping forehead) I thought I would have plenty of time with all this damn rain but ohhhh no lmao

I wish there was rain here! It’s been like 900 degrees. Ugh. I miss winter. 🙃

Lovers & Warriors turned out to be pretty dull, alas. But this one has been bringing Teh Crazeh. I think you’ll approve wholeheartedly. :D

Me too ! I freaking love winter...I would take a -20 day any day over this muggy heat and tornado weather we have been having here in IN ...I have a pizza in the oven and am going to sit my ass down and start reading ;p

I hear that. The only things summer weather is good for are growing flowers in pots, feeding birds, & watching baseball on tv. I swear I won’t willingly set foot outside until it’s 30 degrees cooler. O_o

Pizza + books is a good combination. :D

I forgot something good about hot weather…fireflies & cicadas. :D

I just started it this evening and it has me sucked in...I am making myself stop at page 230 ...I am loving the OTT vibe of this book ...but am losing count of how many times her poor vag is sore lmao ! This is almost reminding me of a cross between a Betrice Small book and Con Seller's Marilee !!!

Right?? I feel so bad for her poor broken vag. *cringe* I have yet to read Marilee but I’m psyched for it—I’ve heard it’s wonderfully OTT with a fab asshole hero. :D
