It's not newish, but the first book of the The Kiesha'ra series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is good...

I didn’t read it yet, but many love Jaymin Eve’s Shadow Beast Shifter series.
It’s paranormals in general for me - I haven’t really picked up or read about something new and great in the last few years. Fantasy romance is more of a thing than before, though…So, I hope you find something cool :)

I do love fantasy. I haven't been on GR much so I feel like I'm out of the loop with what's new.
