I think this series would be great for a kid around 10-12. The characters are entertaining and the plot is interesting. Reading it for the first time as an adult there’s some issues that are really hard for me to overlook although I’m trying not to judge it too harshly. There’s minor plot inconsistencies, the chapter breaks make no sense, too many cliffhangers, and the characters are way ahead of their time.
