The story ends with it's main characters having learned what it takes to deal with a disease in the family. Past deaths are finally made public and mourned so healing can start. This book kept my attention very well + each time I opened it to read I had trouble putting it down and going to bed on time. Wonderful read. Thank you Goodreads Giveaways!

Families are all complex and complicated including the family in this book. The daughter doesn't want strangers to know about her CF, her father is in denial of his daughter's illness + the mother is over protective.

The writing on the pages flows so smoothly. It's as if the author has been writing for over twenty years at least with a lot of experience. I'm really enjoying this book more than I thought I would because I thought it was just about a disease. Well rounded writing and alliteration at its finest. Well done author!

Health problems or medical conditions don't just affect the sickly one. Truly the entire family is affected in many intertwining ways. Just one of the many challenges we face in life, our health and it's impact on those around us, at home, at work, at play.
