Is it a 'small-scale review bombing' if an unreleased book has been 1-starred a mere 6 times and so people 5-starring it 120+ times is 'leveling out the playing field' on request of the author? Asking for myself

Sana So I will be deleting this at some point, or it will be deleted from the many times it's probably been flagged already (a guess, but come on), but it just fucking pisses me off when a marginalized author weaponizes their marginalization for anything at all. Plus, I'm not at all interested in reading a biphobe as well as an acephobe's work

Anyway, I'm just gonna put the whole text below for (my) future reference:

-------------------------------------------------------------

So I've done more research about the whole situation and it's clear that my initial concerns had been from a one-sided source and actually a malicious campaign spread by a person with a history of coming specifically after trans women and trans fems and that Gretchen has responded in a way that she later apologized for

As it stands, I have now deleted those updates and everyone should know more about the campaign to paint the author and their new book coming out in a negative light by looking at this thread and this

Regardless of the above mentioned, I still stand by the fact that the author has shown problematic behavior from lumping gay content with incest and calling both "deviant sexuality" (and later edited to explain what she meant by deviant) to making several biphobic and acephobic comments

P.S. Still not replying to any comments, but I'd just like to say that I'm not trying to come for anyone's livelihood especially those of trans women and telling me I'm participating in "harassment" and that it's "my" campaign when I simply put in a link to some (actually mostly untrue and without much context) disturbing information that I had come to know about the author is simply unacceptable and not gonna roll here. I appreciate that the author apologized but acting like they did nothing wrong does not do anyone any favors

Should I just go ahead and label you all as POC haters because, according to some of you, that's what such behavior entails, right? Being marginalized does not give anyone a right to use that as an excuse to stand behind when called out for bad behavior and it also doesn't give anyone a right to come after other marginalized people

I added this book on here back in April 2020 expressing my excitement for it so please don't embarrass yourselves by running to label other people however you like. A little self-reflection goes a long way so thank you to everyone who provided me with links about the whole story without also attacking me in the process

---------------------------------

'About trans women scavenging for estrogen in a post-apocalyptic world where a viral plague has transformed all cis men into feral monstrosities, fighting tooth and nail against a menace they'll join if they miss a dose and on the run from an authoritarian faction of cis women who see them as a dangerous liability'

I MEAN, FUCK YEAH TO ALL OF THIS
