I've forgotten so much of this book since I last read it - 20ish years ago!
It's as great as I remember it being though, Garth Nix is such an immersive, skilled writer.
It's mind-boggling that a book I read and enjoyed as a 10 year old is as engaging to me still, 1 week away from my 30th birthday.
Looking forward to the next 300 pages...and the sequels after that :)
