I’m up to Cairns’s chapter on the Fantastic Symphony, so I’m going to listen to it while I’m reading about it’s composition.

This book is reminding me why I shouldn’t buy biographies of composers, for as much as I’m getting out of this, so much of it is going over my head. It makes much more sense for me just to check them out from a library.
