me too! This book is kind of everything I always wanted to know about my favorite of his -- and so far the general film knowledge, paragraph by paragraph -- from what makes film to how all auteurism is a little bullshitty to how Matewan emerged from hitchhiking through Appalachia during UMW violence in the 70s -- is pretty absorbing, would recommend.
