kinda slow rn, it feels like the story is being dragged on…

pretty good so far, i like how the author acknowledges the automatic privilege people receive for having certain features, which, in the asian community, one of the main idolized features are big eyes. the fact that only one of the siblings have that feature and that the wife is conventionally beautiful while the husband is a typical chinese man, the unfairness within and toward the family is already mentioned.
