I love small Greek Islands and the smaller the better so the opening few chapters of this book are memory joggers for me. Memories of toilet paper in the bucket, not down the loo, then getting home after a fortnight and looking about for the bucket before realising.
The two old men in every caffeneion also. In this novel they sit motionless but my memory is of dominoes or backgammon.
Believe I am going to enjoy.
