An near-noir mystery centered on comic strips during the 1950s, right at the height of their creative and popular influence. More than a few nods and winks to creators and their creations circulating at that time. Max Allan Collins continues to amaze me with each and every single piece I read by him; I've never seen an author with such an ability to perfectly capture any specific era that catches his interest.
