Poor Ashton.. Sooo many informations has been revealed since the beginning and till now.. His sister, Amelia - is a bitch. Period!
I like how Sophie reacted to his truth. He will do anything for her. They are a great match. I really like this story and how it's told. A great read!

AND she is nearly 30 but she apparently rides astride around the ton in breeches, and randomly taking lovers ..... 🤔 Now, I'm not saying it couldn't happen, specially with a powerful brother to protect her reputation, but it seems to be a bit far stretched.

Okay this is a book I'll be making many notes in 😁 But SOMETHING just occurred that I find.. Off'ish. Ashton's private room, or the dungeon, Sophoe just came across Amelia, with a man. He calls her Mistress in his farewell, so I'm guessing he is submissive and she's a dominant. BUT she uses this room ? This hidden, locked secret room that noone but Ashton is suppose to know about? 🤔

Oh.. 🥰 Ashton is delicious! He has demons who haunts him, bc of his upbringing with his uncle. Such darkness inside him - he fears his beast, his needs inside him - but he is attracted to the sunlight Sophie is to him.
Great story so far 🙂

Chapter two done. Simon, or Ashton as he prefers is a perv. A wicked, delicious perv 😁 Who likes to tie up woman and spank them.
So far I'm not a fan of his sister though. I found her remark about Sophie, unnecessary rude, but she does have a point - Sophie's family IS gold digging and she is willingly allowing them to use her as a tool to obtain the wealth they need to keep afloat.

Alrighty, first chapter done and I liked it. Something struck me as being odd though.. If Ashton is so plush in the pockets, wielding so much power, being such good looking and both well mannered and not opposed to his future responsibility as a husband and father - then why on God's good earth, has some desperate marriage hungry matron mama, wealth aspiring papa of lovestruck debutant, not snatched him up already?
