This book is a real joy to read. Every line is full of character and a sense of place and each page tells its own self-contained story. If anything the book feels more like a series of vignettes than some larger narrative, at least at this point. Halfway in and the Sisters are only just encountering Warm, a man I strongly suspect is going to be the opposite of a villain despite what the brotherrs may view him as.
