Snake is in the theater with the all-male review. Instead of singing, "New York, New York" like in the movie, the book has them singing "Happy Days Are Here Again." A lot of differences. Snake takes meth to help counter the effects of the chemical weapon effects. NOT cool to have Kurt Russell running around in the movie using meth.

Very interesting backstory leading up to the first few scenes in the film. Snake was just offloaded from the truck, Hauk landing in a helicopter at Liberty Base. Dude! Now I wanna watch the film!

Okay, okay. I was WRONG. This is actually fun to read while I work through the other books I'm reading. I'm digging the Snake Plissken we're being introduced to, and would've loved seeing what I've read so far in the actual movie! (The book is based upon the screenplay)
