Wow. I absolutely loved savoring and devouring this book at the same time. Timothy Egan is an incredible writer who uses the power of the pen to transport his readers right to the Via Francigena. His insights and journey of discovery coupled with the retelling of the history of saints and sinners along the trail do no less than spark the curiosity and expand the mind to new ideas and fresh revelations. I loved it!
