I looked at the case and it says "abridged." I also know this book won 2013's Bad Sex in Literature award. If it's that bad sex part that got cut then I am not crying. Hearing Lou Diamond Phillips read Tom Wolfe's interpretation of the going ons inside strip clubs is awkward enough, I couldn't even imagine hearing a graphic sex scene.

I'm on the final disk and it looks like he's got a lot of loose ends to tie up. Yes, I know one is not to read Tom Wolfe for the plot and that there's a lot more going on than the story.
