omg I just read that part today 😱 I expected some kind of epic betrayal from that bastard R, but this was just too much! and that rising sense of dread that HORRIBLE things are gonna happen to my poor Val, and soon... 😭😩 this one's going to hurt; those chapters with Mia already made me tear up haha and I love Val's character so much
