Okay book so far but could we pleeeaase stop writing young women (and men) embarrassed by the mere sight of condoms? Sure, maybe your mom handing them to you is a little awkward (although it was in private and the MC is in her early 20s so I don’t really understand the drama here), but condoms are i m p o r t a n t.
