Wish this was a little more current, but sound "combining" theory. Nicely written.

Miss Kim I read this about 10 years ago. I tried the food combining idea, but I didn't really see much difference.

Kathrynn I thought she was more into healthy eating, so I was bummed to learn her methods involved food combining and eating almost anything except eliminating all refined foods (white bread, sugars, white rice, etc).

Forcing our bodies to go after our stored fats in lieu of eating new sugars that turns to fat that the body then uses.

Just that some of her foods to eliminate,i.e., carrots, bananas seem wrong somehow.

Also, she suggests using Nutri-Sweet and SweetNLow as sugar substitute. That was probably before we were aware of how toxic those things are for our bodies. :-)

I'm going to finish reading it, to see what else she has to say and I believe a slightly altered version of her methods could work.

Miss Kim She comes off as a little 'spacey'. It's basically low carb, isn't it? I just remember an emphasis on how evil potatos are. After that I moved on to Dr. Atkins.

Kathrynn She talks about the Atkins diet and remember that book "Fit for Life"? I think I had a copy one time...

She said the Atkins diet is similar except she uses less meat. But, both Fit for Life and Atkins follow the same basic principle of proper food combos that cause us to have digestive problems and lead to weight gain.
