I cannot think of one redeeming character in this book. The parents are abusive and the main character is manipulative, dishonest, and has low self esteem. I’m a third of the way through the book. I really tried to finish it, but it is not worth my time to listen to any more. I feel like by a third of the way through a book, I shouldn’t still be forcing myself to listen to it.
