i am loving this book. it reminds me a bit of fieldwork, accept that it is more academic and witty. this woman is seriously flippin' adventuresome.
i am getting congested with books right now, though. have to finish this book, than finish eat pray love -- almost done. deep breath. can't wait to read Jessica Z, just ordered a copy and, finally, friend recommended Italo Calvino, just last night during long conversation, so, have to take him up on it or perish in literary hole. gah. deep breath.
