This new book, aptly named, is a concise historical story on the development, testing, building, suppying and actual performance of the production Allison Mustangs.
To tell the "whole story" would require a book of a thousand pages, and the book with around 280 pages, sums it up very well.
The author uses historical photos, records of operators and pages from manuals to "tell the story."
I highly recommend it.
