hm. i’m not at the point where i want to dnf yet, but i’m getting frustrated AND bored so i think i’ll set this aside for now.
the writing is fine and the dialogue is mostly quite good, but the book has such a weird narrative structure? like, things just keep happening for no apparent reason and with no consequences? why should i care what happens when the characters don’t seem to?

frustrating writing and interrupted kisses? sounds like a very irritating book. hopefully the book turns around for you.

Ayanna, thanks so much! it’s still frustrating me so i think i’m going to put it aside for now.eli, rite?? it’s been very irritating so far. im gonna out it aside and see how i feel about it when i’m in a different headspace. thanks xx
