I feel uneasy. Our man, della Torre is in Vukovar in August 1991, which, if you remember, was the site of the Vukovar massacre in November 1991. He plays with fire, this one.

I simply adore Mattich's style: a mix of local Balkan detail, snarky political commentary, and compassionate characters uncertain in the shifting political winds. So far, the only one I'm not crazy about is the one American in the mix...a spy minx...
