As many, I started reading this as a curiosity. Although, I absolutely gotta say, Tarantino's famous abandoning film-making after his tenth film, less heart-breaking a prospect when you realize his writing style is so suited to novels. As far as waxing poetic on the synecdoche of day time television etc. Novel's go completely sideways tangential no problem.
