I had no clue how gay it was two years ago when I first unforeseeably got my hands on the copy that won 2018 Pulitzer Prize at the Chicago airport. I added it to my tbr list and moved on with my life, secretly naive queer kid wandering in life having no idea what I want to do. All I knew was that the synopsis seems good and I want to read it someday. That’s today and the timing never have been more right.
