Millionaires hang laundry out to dry? No dryer or housekeeper/maid? Cade needs to hit Julie upside the head with a brick for her to figure out he loves her. She will have tons of money but can't buy a clue. Book repeats so many things the author must not have been able to keep it straight. She knew then she didn't know it was Cade not Wade....

I cannot believe some of the stuff Julie told her 9-year-old daughter! These adults give her TMI. Ugh. She needs a psychologist STAT. Also, there seems to be a anvil ready to drop saying your dad is not really dead. Check out Caleb.

I really do not like Julie. She is a selfish, clueless woman. To deprive her daughter of her father, grandfather and aunts for almost 10 years while she works so much the poor girl feels unloved and unwanted....that is unforgivable.

Mr. McKay sure sowed a lot of oats with his 4 daughters from 4 different mothers. I cannot believe how out of touch these sisters seem! They are really clueless that a parent would want his children to be close. Even if you don't get along with your siblings, you usually have some clue as to whether they are married or not. Not a great start.
