wow it was really fucked up then. i really hope it’s better now but i have a feeling it’s not that much better and that patients in psych institutions are still abused and not treated right. i don’t think small rooms in a large building with regulated and limited activities and options are the correct “cure”. its literally just a better constructed jail/prison building. we’ll see if this opinion changes..
