That...was morose. Very character driven, beautifully paced...and so very sad.

Strawberry Sins

So far, my favorite. A beauty and the beast retelling, with a lovely foreshadowed sinister twist.

The Mech Oni and the Three Inch Tinkerer

This was a very cute retelling of the folktale Issune Boshi. Lots of adventure, friendship, and a satisfying ending.

The Copper Eyes

Huh. This one was interesting; a bit macabre (a paranoid inventor that uses her own kids as experiments), with a couple of Rapunzel elements (main one: a gal getting trapped in a tower). Not entirely sure what tale was retold though...

WHOA. Wonderfully executed creepy ending. Lots of Frankenstein vibes, but I’m still not entirely sure that’s the tale being retold, since the creation didn’t try to off its creator…
