3% into this book and my opinion of Jennifer is not very high at all. It's made clear she's not a prostitute or a call girl but a professional girlfriend, a mistress. Her self esteem is important to her, yet if Nick hadn't been forthcoming with gifts she would have moved on? Gold digger much?
